Researchers based within the Cardiology unit at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital, are currently running a study looking at the risk of development of heart disease in females, with and without polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
The pilot study has suggested an increased risk of heart disease in PCOS women, which has led researchers to begin this larger study.
We are looking for females with and without PCOS aged between 20 and 60 years old to participate in this study.
